Church Membership is an important step that helps move each of us off the sidelines and into the game. Attendees are spectators, and members get involved in ministry. The big difference in a church attendee and a church member is commitment. Membership lets the local church leadership know, “You can count on me…I am ready…all of me…I am putting down my roots.”
The Bible is very clear on involvement and commitment to a local church as essential for believers. Although membership is not listed as a requirement for a Christian in the Bible, throughout the New Testament there are many verses about Christians meeting in local congregations. We at Family Fellowship Baptist Church believe that church membership is an expression of our commitment to God and identifies our willingness to formally and publicly align as a genuine follower of Christ.
Our members will want to check out the news and announcements, and update changes in their contact information with the Member Update Form.
